Older Samsung problems with Apple tv

Model: UN55D8000YFXZA from 2011 and Apple TV 4 on anynet 

For a while now apple tv turns on when pressing the ok/confirm button on remote. It is super annoying and I don't know what's changed. 

Any ideas?

Could you please just confirm the current set up that you have with your TV in terms of what you have connected to the TV and how you're using it?
