I have a Q7F tv with an NVIDIA Shield Pro connected via HDMi and a Sonos Playbar using optical out
I have been able to set the universal remote to control the volume on the Sonos Playbar as a home cinema system and this works fine with Live TV
However I am unable to set the NVIDIA Shield up using the universal remote and so I can't set it up to use the home cinema system as the sound output which means when I use this I can't control the volume I have tried as a STB and as a OTT game controller, I did manage to add Nvidia as a Bluray player but that did not work either
I have exactly the same issue with an old 3D Samsung Bluray player that is also not recognised by the universal remote
Are there any workarounds for this?
