Not possible to upload photos to Ambient mode

I want to upload photos to my Samsung QE55Q80R smart TV. I want to use these photos in Ambient mode as a static background (in My Album) as a kind of painting. I don't have an Android smartphone but an iPhone and an iPad.

I put the Smart Things app on it. That should allow me to upload the photos.

Unfortunately I can't connect to my Samsung TV. The app always states that the TV is offline (the TV is on).

It doesn't matter whether I access WiFi wired or wirelessly with the TV.

My TV has a good connection to WiFi.

Maybe my model (QE55Q80R of 2019) is not supported?

Or have I not set something up correctly?

Hi, have you found a way to solve this problem yet?

I just got the QE43Q60CAUXXH, also with the ambient mode, and I have an iPhone and iPad combo as well.

Every time I have tried to upload photos. It says there is an error between my TV and device. Installed the SmartThings on both, and it says the same thing over and over.

No, I never managed to show photos in Ambient mode. It doesn't seem to be possible. Of course, you can easily display photos from your iPad or iPhone on your TV via AirPlay, but uploading a photo as a fixed background won't work.
