My Setup: Denon AVR X2700H + Denon AVS-3 + Samsung Q95T + Various inputs including PS5 Through AVS-3 and 8K input.

After the last firmware update from Samsung for my Q95T (Firmware 2303), 8k/4K@120 mode is no more working with my PS5 :(... I have been using this settings for months with no problem..... but know with the same cables and configuration...... I get "No signal" and suddenly I loose all inputs not only 8K/4K@120. After that the only way to recover video is to disable 8K/4K@120 enhanced and then power cycle the TV any idea guys ¿? has the last firmware break 8K/4K@120/4K@60 HDR 4:4:4 !!?

Please any help could be great !!!

Hi, I am having a very similar issue on my Denon X1700H and Samsung QN95A. Is there a fix for that one as well? Running 2101 at the moment and latest Denon U29 firmware.

Activating any gamemode on the HDMI input from the Denon receiver just gives no signal when connecting to PS5 or Xbox Series X.

@SO_SESK do you know if there's a fix for the QN95A as well? Getting no signal from the Denon X1700H. Self diagnosis shows as 720x480/50i. Tried slow mode 2 on the HDMI but no result.

Hello Awe81.

Unlike 2020 models currently there is not any recent acknowledged bug of 2021 models related to this combination of devices. But this model has a chance of having the AOC cable damaged (between TV and One Connect) so I recommend asking a call center agent to perform a remote session and check for errors.

On Your denon receiver, have You enabled the "8K Enhanced" option as stated in the manual listed below?

4K/8K Signal Format AVR-X1700H (denon.com)

On Your TV make sure that in HOME -> SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> EXTERNAL DEVICE MANAGER -> INPUT SIGNAL PLUS -> the option is enabled for the HDMI port You use for the receiver + the console.

Depending on the condition of Your cables You may need to set the PS5 -> Settings -> Screen and Video -> 4K Video Transfer Rate to -1 or -2. We had issues when using certain other brands HDMI 2.1 cables instead of original (Sony and Microsoft). Based on the R&D analysis of suspicious cables they were not able to maintain the speeds as mentioned on their packagings.

Does the issue occur if ALLM is OFF on PS5?
