No network connection on smart tv

I've had a Samsung smart tv for a few months and frankly I'm at the point of returning it.

I'm sick of losing the network connection and spending ridiculous amounts of time trying to get it to connect to my wireless network. 

I'm sitting in my chair in the lounge room less than 2m from the modem/router. I rarely if ever have any problems with my S10e connecting. The TV which is in the same room and probably less than 3m away on the other hand is a right pia. 

I have tried every and I mean every suggestion short of a complete reset which to me seems gross overkill for a known problem. 

When are Samsung going to do something about this well known problem?

Do any other brands have this problem or is it only Samsung?

Not impressed Samsung

I had this problem, now my router sits at the bottom of the TV to one side, I tried the ethernet cable, but that was too slow, but something I have not tried, but heard of, is that if you use this cable you can get full broadband speed, you can also watch people demonstrating this cable on YouTube, the link for the cable is, ..

Thanks for the reply but moving my router would not be practical as it would mean running cables over the floor. Not keen on trip hazards at my age. Given the number of people having this problem I see it as a Samsung problem and something they should make an effort to fix.

My TV is connected via cable and WiFi. This is easily done by accessing the TV settings and going into the connection settings.

Using wps made my tv disconnect ever 5 minutes but for some reason when i put in the wifi password in manually the tv has been ok. But this could just b a fluke as per usual it was trial and error that came up with this samsung customer (i dont) care were useless.

Hi,
Have you tried speaking to ur broadband provider to see if they can help with the issue ur facing. Also you can try Internet booster.

We have had problems with connecting to the router by Wi-Fi or directly wired also. I plan on one buying anymore Samsung TVs. I constantly reboot the router, reboot the TV, unplug & plug in TV, manually enter DNS, etc. nothing works!
