No HD channels on old TV

My parents have an old TV that I am trying to set up for them. It is an LE40B530P7WXXC.

When I autotune digital channels it seems to add all SD channels (134 channels) without problem. However, fails to add any of the HD channels (i.e. Channels 101 to 105).

I've updated the firmware to the most recent available - from version 2004 to version 2009 (dated 2010).

Still nothing. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

Freeview HD wasn't around when that model was launched so is unsupported. You need an HD Freeview box.

Hi @OldTV   Yes you will need a Freeview HD Box in order to receive the  HD channels, seems Freeview HD starting launching December 2009.
