No Ethernet socket on Serif

I am swapping old 40” smart TV which has an Ethernet socket, for a Serif which doesn’t. The shop advice is to buy a lan to USB adapter and use the USB socket on the new TV. Before I buy one, can anyone confirm this will work? (My modem router signal wasn’t strong enough, hence the wired Ethernet solution)

I have the same problem. Did you ever find out if the lan/usb adapter works with the serif?

It does not work, serif tv doesnt even have an option to choose Ethernet in network settings when choosing. I tried with 3 different usb to Ethernet dongles and all didnt work
