Hi,
I just bought a Sony HT-X8500 soundbar for my samsung 55RU7300 curved TV and a HDMI2.1a cable with eARC.
The soundbar is able to handle dolby digital plus codec and I have a HMDI2.1a calbe with eArc connected to my tv in the correct HDMI arc port on my TV.
Yet when I go to expert settings on my TV the dolby digital plus function is not avialable.
I already resetted my TV and checked for updates.
Did I do something wrong or are they not compatible? If so, can this be fixed with an update?
