New update MU series

After the last Update and the issues it caused I have turned off Automatic Updates.

Just had a message asking me to allow a new update, I have declined update until I have more information. 

Does anyone know what it is for ?

Does anyone have solid proof that update 1250.5 included HDR10+ either by the built in amazon app or HDMI?

Find a HDR10+ source and the home button to the settings and the picture mode should tell you what the TV is showing IE when I play xbox it tells me I am playing HDR
Maybe YouTube has a video test stream? Not sure if the application shows it, you can find out with the method I said though
The issue is very few programs on Amazon are set to play HDR10+ I feel this was Samsung trying to force this on everyone. My S10 is the only thing I have seen that has the 10+ option

maybe there will be an update in the future and dolby TrueHD and Atmos will be supported, otherwise my new TV is going to be a LG.

I have an MU6470 (UK model) firmware v1270.3 and when I play a sample with the following characteristics:

Format : HEVC
Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding
Format profile : Main 10@L5.1@High
HDR format : SMPTE ST 2094 App 4, Version 1, HDR10+ Profile A compatible
Codec ID : V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC

it shows as HDR on the telly.
