I believe ST2084 is for static metadata and ST2094 is for dynamic.   Both are HDR But both are not the same.

Not the same , but ST2084 is standard. Also for dolby vision.

Dolby Participation in the Industry
• “Dolby Vision” ecosystem has launched for services where standards are not required
– Branded: content, delivery, display
– OTT: Warner, Sony, MGM, Universal, Vudu, Netflix, Amazon; Vizio, LG, TCL
– Cinema: Dolby Premium Cinemas
• Broadcast needs standards so Dolby is leading standards development
– JPEG-HDR (ISO/IEC 18477-2) for richer still photography
– SMPTE ST 2084 (PQ), ST 2086 (static metadata), ST 2094-10 (dynamic metadata)
– ITU-R Report BT.2390, ITU-R Recommendation BT.2100
– MPEG-HEVC Development, Enable and Improve for HDR
– ATSC A/341 Annex E
– ETSI TS 103 572"

Looks like it's the same with Dolby vision.   ST2094 refers to the ability to play "dynamic metadata".

It is a Samsung

application SMPTE ST2094-40.

This is base for adding dynamic data to HDR10.

Yes but nobody sees ST.2094 when playing HDR10+, just ST.2084

You do understand that there is a... profound.... difference between, static, and dyanamic,  metadata?    The two standards are both part of the HDR world,  except one is far better than the other.   Why would Samsung not list that standard in their gamma settings,  along with the lesser HDR standard ST2084?

What should Samsung list , ST2094 , ST2094-10 , or ST2094-40 ?

I'm not sure if you're messing with us or not?   What do you mean why should they list it?  Because that is the standard for the ablility to read and react to dynamic metadata.   Why bother list the standard ST2084 then?  Why bother list any standards for that matter.
