I have been promised by Samsung team member that I will get upgrade one connect box with 2.1 hdmi for my Q90R as soon the lockdown finished, I am still waiting here?????

Well that's the last time I get a Samsung TV , was promised by the retailer. Basically I've been lied to,would of never bought the TV in the first place if I was not promise hdmi 2.1 box ,5 grand down the drain. 😡😤. Thanks for your reply pathfinder. 👍

Samsung apparently doesn't care about customer service. A class action should be filed

Mate i feel your pain! I am in the same boat.Bought the TV under the pretense i would be getting the new box soon and looks like that was a huge lie. Pi@#ed off is not the word.

Yeah buddy , it's absolutely disgusting I have loads of Samsung devices my phone soundbars TVs ,I'll be selling the lot never buying samsung again. I'm going to get some legal advice on this, I've been mis-sold something there must me a law against this. I bought Sony TVs for years I wish I never made the change to Samsung. They are lying bunch of @#£#s.

I feel you all and I can, although I actually do work with testing, calibrating and comparing/reviewing Samsung tech, mostly tvs/sound systems, say that their support is beneath all dignity. They are so uninformed and uneducated it's just horrifying! Ask the same question to five different people and you will get five different answers. Totally unacceptable!

Same debacle with the 2018 Q900RA 8K tv. They actually got the box swap, but only to find out that the new one NEITHER had full HDMI 2.1 support, despite promises from Samsung and particularly from their useless support. Now, I feel sorry for the people working there... Of course it's not their fault. They just give the answers they have been informed to give. Other than that, they have close to none education.

No we didn't get a box swap, I've left messages and even had my TV go in for repair as it failed completely and still didn't get a replacement box. Plus we were never fully explained to that the 8K TV would not get the full 2.1 experience.

I have just bought my daughter an LG TV as will never purchase from Samsung again.
