New 8 k TV switches itself on in standby mode

Hello ,wondering if some one can help.

we got a new Samsung 8k QE55Q85TA just before Christmas. i am not very savvy on technical stuff but usually manage to get thru them.

The tv is hooked up thru a Talk Talk box used for recording programmers and films.

Problem is when left in standby it switches back on @2 to 3 hours after downloading whatever i have set it for.

Can be a pain in the early hours getting up to turn off the main power.

in settings turn off automatic channel scans. if that doesn't help you'll need to turn off automatic update checks for TV firmware too. you can find those to apply manually via USB stick on the Samsung website anyway
