Just bought my new UE49NU7100. and I have it connected to a marshall Woburn speaker via optical cable.

It works great watching tv and listening to Spotify. But when I start the Netflix or Videoland app the sound starts to glitch...

When I switch back to the internal speaker it is fine. The sound only glitches when I use the optical external speaker.

Link to the video I Made: https://youtu.be/Sfhfo9WRaHw

Please help

Thanks!

Hi @LS91.

Did you manage to sort this issue or are you still having the same problem?

Hi Chris,

The problem is still occuring. Even when I set the sound on the internal speakers, there is still somehow a signal to my speaker. And starts buzzing and glitching like in the video I sent. (Note: It only seems to occur with video apps like: Netflix, RTL XL, videoland, NPO start, and facebooktv. While apps like spotify and YouTube don't give problems at all. )

The optical cable gives a Nice red light so seems Just fine.

Best regards.

Sorry I did nog mention the sollution here,

Go go settings -> sound -> expert settings -> and make sure the sound format is set to PCM and not Bitstream.
