I need to connect a Bluetooth transmitter to my UE40H6700 in order to connect to my new Bluetooth hearing *****. I want to do this without cutting off the existing speakers (else my wife can't hear anything). I have a 3.5mm jack to Bluetooth transmitter, but when I plug this into the headphones socket, it cuts off the speakers. How do I avoid this? Is there a way of avoiding plugging a 3.5mm jack into the phones socket cutting off the speakers? Or do I need to use a different socket? Maybe the Infra Red, the Digital (is this TOSLINK?) or the Phono sockets? But before buying the adapters to make this possible, I need to be sure that plugging something into these connectors will not cut off the internal speakers. And does anyone know of a single adapter that will do this, or do I need to buy a digital/IR/phono to 3.5mm jack socket adpater and then plug the 3.5mm jack plug to Bluetooth transmitter into this?
Thanks - Rowan

Hello @RowanSB,
you can use an optical adapter / jack to connect your Bluetooth hearing,
you plug it into the optical port of your TV.
I hope that my answer will be useful to you.
