my tv has got a speaker symbol followed by x so i cant obtain sound how do i remove

Hi @johnyt.

What's the model code of your TV? Does it have a headphone socket at the back of the TV and have you checked that this is clear?

Problem solved 

I powered off TV and talk talk set top box for 2 mins and it cleared.

My TV has a speaker and an X infront of it the volume is up and yet I can hear not a sound...help me please
