Model UN55MU7000FXZA - White Spot on Screen Hot to Touch

I have a Model UN55MU7000FXZA that is developing a white spot at the screen edge, that progressivly is making a dark streak though screen. Frame of TV is very hot to touch. When measured the white area is about 8 inches in lenght, fearing fire danger?

Has anyone else expreinced this, TV is about 15 months old.

That sounds bad. I would DIRECTLY contact the seller of the TV for the warranty or go to an Samsung Authorized Repair center (Please bring the proof of purchase with you ). There is indeed a risk for fire if you are not careful.

Hi @KennyP. This appears to be a non UK model of TV. Are you based here in the UK?
