Hello,

Sooooo I bought a 55in Samsung Smart tv not realizing the remote was "locked". I bought the TV without the remote not realizing it was locked to begin with. To complicate matters, apparently it also came with One connect and I also do not have the One connect box. Should I just throw the whole thing out? I can't get it to do anything except turn on and off. Any advice would be amazing. Thanks in advance for your help!

You probably brought a stolen TV and Samsung has remotely locked it rendering it useless if that is the case it needs reporting to the police

The RV won't work without a paired One Connect Box. Contact Samsung customer services to see if they can help.

How do you know that for certain? They didn't say whether it was new or where they bought it from
