Hello everyone,
Might seem silly but I'm having trouble using a universal mount on my new ks8000.
The back seems to allow for only the top 2 holes as the bottom two which are in line seem to just be holes and not for screws.
Am I missing something? I have been told I would need spacers but what does the bottom half actually screw in to? usually there are four screw wholes like my other tv...
I have attached an image
Thanks

Hi
Have you checked the manuals that came with the TV as usually there are mounting instructions and sometimes spacers required, I had all this on my Q7F. With my Q7F I had to go on Ebay and buy some longer bolts, they needed to be a specific length.
I'm guessing the hole at the bottom either has a thread but just deaper into the TV (maybe have a look with a torch), or it has some form of plastic standoff that needs to be fitted.
Regards
Phil

How did you resolve this issue? I just bought a 65' Samsung and I have the same problem:top holes are threaded but bottom ones are not. Samsung manual is no help.
Thanks so much!

*****, BS, lost my entire post because you guys require registration and then it wipes out your entire post. Anyway, bottom line, I have the same mounting issue with my new 43 inch UHD paperweight on my floor because Samsung's VESA holes do not align properly with every mount I own. I have a pole based mount/stand I want to mount the TV on but only the top two holes thread in as the bottom two holes appear to be there for show as they do not fit anything. My question is can I simply use the top two holes? The mount is made for heavier TV's so I do not anticipate a problem but can the TV hang with the top two screws only? It will be stationary and the TV will never be touched by anyone else except me.

These are the photos of my pole based metal TV mount/stand.
