Ks8000 hdr+ Viewing mode goes dim on sky hd channels but works when 4k signal or hdr with netflix

Ks8000 its special viewing mode hdr+ goes dim when watching non hdr or 4k like the sky hd ( still need upgrade to sky q) ive tried changing settings etc but to no avail is my set gone bad or is that hiw its suppose to be.

How are you connecting your Sky box to your KS8000 TV, @Amer?

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting? 

Have you tried using a different cable?

Hi hdr+ is for standard content to give you that hdr look.
