KS8000 HDR prompt now missing and poor HDR quality

Hi all,

The prompt for HDR has vanished as of the last update and now I don't know if HDR is active. When I change to HDR in game on PS4 the colours seem muted and dim. To be honest the HDR picture was pretty dim before the update, but now its muted and washed out too...

Is there any way of telling if HDR is active? When I press the info button all it tells me is the resolution and that UHD colour is active. No mention of HDR!?

Anyone got any info on this or any way of fixing the issue?

Hi @spikerules.

This is completely normal - the TV will no longer provide a notification to advise when HDR content has been detected. The picture you are viewing will still be in HDR (providing you are viewing HDR content).

If you bring up the Home Bar and go to Settings, you will be able to find more information about the content displayed.
