Can anyone offer advice on this issue please?
I have a 3 year old QMQ7FR which has developed a fault.
When I turn on the TV, the screen comes on but only with a mottled blue/ purple hue. I can hear sound. If I leave it like that for 5 minutes, power off/ on at the wall socket, it will start up. Once started, it works fine. This happens every time the TV is switched off for more than a few minutes.
I've spoken to Samsung who ran through the text book update/ reset routine and then advised me to call an engineer out. (It's out of warranty, so they wouldn't do it).
I just want to know if anyone has experienced this issue and if its worth me paying for a callout or if it's a one connect issue and I can simply replace the box.
