Issue mirroring PC monitor

 I have just got my hands on a UHD TV (UE40JU6000). I can add it just fine to my WIndows 10 control panel and stream video. What I would like to do instead, is stream the whole monitor. Final objective: play Steam games with a controller from another room (TV in living room, PC in my study). How can I do this? WIDI was deprecated, and I don't want to buy any hardware for this.
