IPLAYER on some smart TVs still not working. No firmware fix as promissed.

We are still waiting for the promissed smart TV firware update on UE40h -6500sl series tvs as promissed early 2020.

This is get iplayer working as it should but stopped due to a samsung cerificate error, according to BBC.

When are we getting the fix ! Its not BBC its Samsung

yes and also a  total reset of the smart hub back to initial factory start. This issue is one that BBC says is linked to Samsung and the security certificate for that range of TVs..

No progress re samsung technical support. Appears paying £600 for a Smart Samsung TV is not enough for a firmware Certificate fix. Known problem identified by BBC re Iplayer not playing properly and customers ignored by Samsung to fix as promissed in early 2020.

Tried all their restarts etc. Its a certification issue of Samsungs design . How about fixing it.
