iPlayer and ITVx Apps on QE55Q70AATXXU

Hi all, I currently have this set running latest software version 2111. TV Location is set to United Kingdom, but when I search the app store I can seem to find these apps, Ive rest TV twice at this stage, also I have reset smart hub and neither worked. I have been on to support also and they were no help either. 

Surely these apps should be available for this model. Also I must add, the iplayer does work through the red/green button option while on a BBC channel.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Leonard76  Should have these apps, this model is definitely in the supported list for iplayer https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/supported-devices/samsung#2021   ITVX available for any Samsung tv from 2016 https://help.itv.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000562353-Which-Connected-TV-devices-are-supported-  know there have been cases where iplayer was not initiallly available on some new Tv's  but was soon sorted out,  would not seem to be applicable in this case though.

just checking when setting up were Terms/conditions agreed to as that could cause an issue. Some information here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/2022-how-to-install-apps-and-manage-downloaded-app... 

otherwise  general troubleshooting has been followed and you have the latest firmware.

if the apps do not appear in a search have you checked in genres, video would be where apps such as this would be.  Which apps were preinstalled on your set,  i.e. did you have the likes of Prime Video and Netflix.

@Leonard76: Please can you confirm where you purchased the TV from, and which country you are currently based in? If you're outside the UK, then access to regionally specific apps such as iPlayer and ITVX might be restricted in your region.

I am in ROI, and TV was purchased in ROU also, however when I am setting up the set I am selecting United Kingdom as my location and I’ve a vpn set on my router which enables me to access iPlayer through BBC1/2 so not sure if that’s the issue.
