It came damaged from the factory. One of the LED bars inside the TV which illuminate the screen had been damaged. I am wondering how this small damage happens in the factory? (just curious to how the machines that make these TV's work)

@Summo: I'm sorry to hear that your TV has reached you in this condition. QLED models such as the Q77B feature a direct backlight panel with hundreds of LEDs, rather than individual bars. Am I right in assuming that you are experiencing a dark area or strip/line on the display, which is visible on all channels and sources? If you head to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test, is the issue visible in the sample images? If so, and if you are within 30 days of the purchase date, please reach out to the retailer directly to inform them of the issue, and you should be able to arrange a replacement model. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
