How to set, and use my Samsung remote to go direct to my Hulu account?

I don't think the original Samsung remotes can do that , unless they have a dedicated button for it. Like they have a NETFLIX/ AMAZON button.

However, nowadays, there are plenty of smart remotes ( programmable ones ).

Depends on the TV and the remote. What TV do you have? Some Samsung remotes don't have dedicated streaming buttons, more on the high end TVs that have the slim silver or black remote.
