How can I check if new TV is showing pictures in HD

Hello

I was wondering if anyone could help me please

I have bought a new SAMSUNG UE65 TU850 7UXXU TV and I have connected up my and the pictures are not very sharp and I am watching Sky Sports and the HD is not showing in the top right hand corner ?

Are you upscaling 1080i or 1080p to a 65" 4K TV? That's never going to be pin sharp
