Help! Advertising caption keeps appearing will not go away

 This caption keeps appearing at some type of advertising box it clicks back-and-forth. Turning off the TV does not help I don’t have the original remote I am not connected to the Internet please help

This annoying caption keeps blinking to the left and the right I have tried everything. It will not go away nobody seems to know how to fix it. I am not connected to the Internet. I’ve had the TV for three or four years and it just suddenly appeared one night about three months ago. Please help me I can’t afford a new TV

Go to Settings Privacy
and look for the option
Use information From TV Inputs.

Turn the option off to disable the ads

From the remote? I don’t have the original TV remote only the spectrum remote. My husband passed some type of a button and it just never went off. Very frustrating

Or right on the actual TV? Nothing is working. I don’t understand why this advertising box is up.
