When playing media through any input (xbox etc) it seems to revert to st1086 instead of st2084 i’ve read that 2084 is supposed to be on when watching hdr content, how do I enable this constantly?

The TV auto-detects when an HDR signal is present and will switch settings automatically, you can't manually change this. Check that you are using HDMI cables that are capable of transferring an HDR signal and that the source is correctly outputting HDR.

@Cameron1994: Please ensure first of all that any external devices connected to the TV are capable of outputting in HDR e.g. you have an Xbox One S/X. If they are then please go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and select HDR+ Mode to automatically provide an optimal HDR effect based on the video source. You may also wish to try Settings > General > External Device Manager > HDMI UHD Color > Enable this on any relevant HDMI inputs.
