I have a Samsung AU9075. Because this TV lacks a 3.5 mm audio connector I feed the audio through a Bluetooth receiver to the old external amplifier (which has neither optical, HDMI nor Bluetooth capabilities). However, I'd like to get the audio from the HDMI connector.
I've tried a HDMI-to-VGA plug with an 3.5 mm audio output.
The HDMI eArc output option is grayed out in the expert menu section.
How can I convince the TV to use the HDMI connector as audio output?
