HDMI sound output with volume level displayed

Hi, I have just purchased a new Tv (80A) and I have it via Arc to my Sonos Beam.

Is there a away times show the volume level rather than Receiver (HDMI) when adjusting the volume? On my previous TV it would show a volume level so you know how loud at a glance? 

When the bar isn’t plugged in it shows the volume level but that changes to receiver (hdmi) which is pretty useless when tweaking the volume level.

Hopefully there is a way to change this but I cannot figure this out.

I have the same issue on my QN90B (also the same soundbar).

My older Samsung TV (a 2014 model) shows Sonos Beam volume level on screen when I adjust the volume. However my new QN90B it does not.

Is this issue specific to Sonos Beam and new Samsung TVs, or does it also happen with other soundbars?

Either way, if anyone from Samsung is monitoring this community, please update the software on your modern TVs so that it displays Sonos Beam volume level on screen, like your older TVs do.
