I have a q55q9 qled and it has developed an issue. After 3-4hrs of tv viewing I get a signal issues, diagonal lines across the tv and eventually the HDMI signal is lost for all hdmi ports. This is only relevant for hdmi inputs. If I swap to an inbuilt app (Netflix/Amazon) there is no further issue with the signal/picture
if I leave the tv on standby, the next day it’s fine for the first 2-3 hrs then it starts again
things I have done to rectify/isolate the issue…..
changed for a new hdmi cable
had a new sky q box
had a Samsung engineer remote to and update hdmi drivers
took it to a repair shop ( no joy as it’s intermittent)
bought a different one connect box (2nd hand)
none of these things have solved the problem.
any input would be great as I’m at a loss as what to do

Hi Lee,
I am having very much the same issue with my brand new QN95A! Any 4K device such as FireTV 4K Max or VM receiver, I just get a flashing image every 1-2 seconds.
There is some sort of hdmi s/w upgrade which can be done via the engineer menu, BUT the files are not for vegetal public consumption.
oddly, I can get 1080p hdmi devices connected ok, E.g. Nintendo Switch.,

Hi jlb777. When my issue happened 1st time I went on live chat from the Samsung help page and an engineer remote connected and updated my hdmi driver software. I forgot to mention that but this may be an option for you
