Re: Google cameras and Google assistant on smart tv

When I ask Google assistant via the remote to show my nest cam battery (show back garden) it throws back "sorry i don't know where to play the video please tell me the exact name of the screen". If I ask it to show the nest doorbell wired (show front door) it just does a Google search. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

For what its worth on my Samsung TV via Smartthings, linked to my Ring/Arlo cameras, it never works, shame as I don't like the pop up notification for ever single motion/ring.

I don't think it's possible with Nest either straight out of the box

Seems very odd a TV with Google assistant can't show camera feeds.
