Ghosting shadow on 3d tv

I have a 3D TV model UE40F6100AK  software version 1.30

Recently I have noticed a patch around 6" in diameter of a black shadow, but tonight the shadow has gone the whole length of the screen at the bottom it is about 6"deep.

Does anyone know if this can be removed?

Does it appear normal when you run a picture test? If not you may need an engineer from your local Service Centre.

I haven't done a picture test, I assume that is in the options menu?

You'll need to head to Menu > Support > Self diagnosis > Picture test.
