Hi, can anyone tell me how to get an engineer out to look at my tv. I spoke to someone on the phone and he was more than useless, also his line kept on cutting cutting off. I have tried the on line robot chat and got nowhere with them. Is there a telephone number or email so i can book in an engineer? I have only had my tv since august and i am giving up on it. I think its an issue with the tv as i have seen a few posts about it but my tv will not recognise my virgin box in hdmi port. Consequently the 2 (not so smart) remotes turn it from ‘unknown’ source (my virgin hdmi port) back to terrestrial tv if i press any of the buttons. It is annoying as it used to say’virgin media’ in the hdmi port and all the smart remotes worked for the virgin box and therefore very usable. Now it wont recognise it. So, how do i get an engineer out unless anyone knows what the issue is and how i resolve it. I have reset numerous times and tried restarting without virgin plugged in. It just wont recognise the virgin box. Thanks in advance

I done that but the technician I spoke to didn’t want to request an engineer (from what I could understand). He even went onto my system remotely and could not remedy the issue. I got the distinct feeling he was aware that there was an issue but could not fix it. I asked him a few times how to request engineer support but he would not answer my question. Eventually he put the phone down. I will try the number and see if I can get straight to an engineer. All the problem is the tv does not recognise the virgin box (TiVo) so the universal remote does not work. I think they know there is a problem but reluctant to sort it out
