If your dish works with sky it will work with Freesat as they use the same satellite. I'm not sure if there are differences between lnb's other than having more than one in your dish e.g sky plus needs 2 lnbs so you can pause record other channels etc I think you can have 4 or more lnbs in one dish. 1 lead per lnb. If your only watching then 1 lnb is enough. I only have 1 lnb connected to my Freesat box Hope this helps
