Frame TV slideshow stops working

The Slideshow in Art mode just stops working on The 2020 Frame TV.  Select a collection, set an interval and it starts changing for a few hours, then simply hangs on one picture and never changes again. 

I know this is a duplicate, but this is of of the main advertised features of Frame TV and it is broken for more that 6 months with no fix. Pathetic.

I tried turning on and off, completely resetting Smarthub and other suggestions - nothing works. Software version 2014. It was working fine before the big update that added random shuffling.

I find that if the slideshow is interrupted by watching tv, when resuming it will hang on the last image. Same thing if the tv goes to sleep - on resume, hangs on one image.

There was a software update this week, version 2101. So far the Art store slideshow works well for 2 days now, maybe it was fixed? I'll report about how it goes some time later.
