TVHi,
I'm considering buying a frame TV and read you can upload your own images to display in art mode. I was wondering if it's also possible to upload video or gif so you could play animated loops as art works? And would these be able to loop seamlessly?
Thanks!

TVHi I tried here first with the problems i had with art mode for the frame.
I phoned Samsung after 15 minutes having explained the issues that I have with uploaded pictures having only 1 border choice I then got cut off. I waited patiently 15 minutes as the lady had my mobile no. to ring back.
annoyingly I had to phone back go through all the security questions again. But this time the lady understood the problem checked my tv remotely for any issues to which there were none. So now to the important part .
Size of pictures not just 16.9 but the resolution needs to be 3840 x 2160
I use a free program called fastone which does batch editing to resize to required resolution
FastStone Photo Resizer - Powerful Image Converter/Resizer
when i uploaded the pictures all options are now available .
The frame has a new life and does what I wanted it to do when I got it some 6 weeks ago.

TVThe app was updated and I am able to upload images from IOS. Still need the slideshow to transition between images faster! The software is getting better.

TVI am not able to use HDMI 4 with PS5, so no 120 refresh for gaming. Airplay from MacBook Pro is limited to HD, so no 4K desktop. I can stream 4k to my Apple TV 4K, and its really nice for extending the desktop. If the devs can solve the above issues and make the art mode more robust it will be perfect for my use. Thank you!

TV2 years later and no simple update yet!! Samsung Art Mode is a joke and it does not appear that it will get any simple updates to make it useful.
