Hi,
I have a new Samsung Frame 32" 2022 TV. I've set the TV to allow Wake on Mobile in the expert network settings and while it's on I can use the Smartthings app to control it. However, if I turn the TV off and leave it for ~5 minsI notice that I can no longer turn it on using the Smartthings app.
If I look at devices connected to my router I can see it is no longer listed and if I try and ping it's ip http://[TVIPAddress]:8001/api/v2/ directly it no longer responds. I assume the wifi is turned off completely to save power.
Is there a setting I'm missing. Has anyone managed to get this working so that they can control the TV from the app after any time period? Without Wake on LAN it seems that Smartthings is a bit pointless.
