Samsung. UE22C4000PWXXU - Initial problem, remote intermittently not functioning. Changed batteries, still not working but working on another Samsung TV in another room. Remote from other TV working on suspect TV and original remote started to work. After a few days it stopped working again. I suspected the TV sensor was faulty. Recently, I noticed the colour/contrast was very strong and in settings the contrast value was 100. I reset it to 50 but after a short period of time it returned to 100. I have recently replaced the TV but before I dispose of the faulty set I wondered if it was economically salvageable.
