Hopefully self explanatory from the video below.

Horizontal blurred lines have developed overnight, appear slightly worse when viewing Sky compared to Youtube and Netflix via the in built apps. Tried all the obvious cable, powering off (overnight) and a factory reset.

Model is a UE43KU6670 curved screen, just over 5 years old.

Thanks in advance for any/all comments/advice.

Hi, you could contact Samsung directly about this issue as it seems to be a fault with the display that you probably can't fix yourself.

Hi @Spencernoel1976  Do you have the latest firmware 1260.1  from 2022 (would appear as 1260 on TV)  If not can be downloaded to USB and updated that way.  https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE43KU6670SXXN/  It is actually a 2016 model though you may have bought it later.  Are you able to try another HDMI cable in case that is the issue, assuming after checking the cables were secure.

However  advisable to try a Picture Test, Settings-Support-Self Diagnosis-Picture Test.   If the picture Test fails there is likely an issue with the panel,  if repair  needed would need though to consider if worth while on such a model.  Samsung Support would be able to give advice though.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

@Spencernoel1976: Whilst  we appreciate the self-help spirit and ingenuity of Community users, we can't allow advice on our Community that involves the opening up of a Samsung product's casing to tamper with the internal components; or any other potentially dangerous repair advice.

Whether your product is in or out of the manufacturer warranty, in the event of any problems with it that can't be solved by our advised troubleshooting, we would always urge Samsung users to contact their local Samsung Support (https://www.samsung.com/uk/function/ipredirection/ipredirectionLocalList/) and/or have their product inspected and repaired by an approved Samsung engineer or technician.
