Hi. I purchased a new TV from Curry's about a week ago, and when I registered it on Samsung it shows expired warranty as per picture below.

Should I confront Curry's about this, as they said that TV will have 5 years warranty?

Please can anyone bring a bit of light to the situation as I am a bit confused.

Thanks

Since it's only about a week ago you have every right to return the TV if this issue is not addressed by the retailer.

The warranty starts from the date of purchase. If it can't be sorted out by Curry's or Samsung, then consult a solicitor.

I just spoke with Samsung, and they have confirmed that the 5 years warranty starts from the date of purchase, so I shouldn't be bothered what the website is stating.

I will also speak with Curry's, out of curriosity, just to check what their responce will be :smiling-face:

Thanks
