We turned on the TV yesterday and this page displayed. We have spoken to Samsung, tried to hard reset it but it won't allow us did to saying in correct pin. We have also tried all the normally thing like unplugging and powering down for a few hours etc

 

The only thing that can be brought up is the settings menu bit even some of those options are greyed out. As well as the general setting freezes when selected.

 

Had any one encountered this before ? We believe it as something to do with the internet connection and have swapped out the ethernet cable but that hasn't worked either. 

 

Please help if you have any ideas ?

You could reset it by going into service menu .
1. power off your TV
2. info + settings + mute + power in a quick sequence.
3 . you'll get this picture

Then press on "option" and you'll get a sub -menu like this :
Click on "factory reset " , but , do not change anything else .

....does it do like that on every SOURCE input ?

Won't let me change the source and it failed to update

Then i think you should consider taking it to a service . Any warranty ? Or is an older TV ?

Thank you for your help, it hasn't worked unfortunately.

 

We have a back up tv and we are sending it away to get repaired under warranty hopefully.
