Dolby Vision Support

Hello Friends,

I have a Q80T on order, but am now considering cancelling given the position with DV (I’ve done my homework after the purchase unfortunately!). I understand DV could be added by way of a firmware update. Is there any news on whether Samsung will be considering adding DV to present  and future TVs? And would you say it was a game changer? Mainly use Disney+, Netflix and a PS5 when it arrives in a few weeks.

I just set up a Q80T myself. Overall pleased with the display but it's hard to stomach the cost knowing that a feature that *should* be there, isn't. If you haven't taken delivery, I might look elsewhere. TCL 8 series, Vizio quantum P series, LG/Sony OLED...
