I have a soundbar,(Samsung HW-Q66R) and i bought a new Qled TV (Neo QLED QW65QN95AATXXC), which a connected by HDMI in the 3ed port on the TV which i labled ARC.

But when i go into settings --> sound to turn dolby atmos on it is greyed out..........

What am i doing wrong / misunderstanding?

How many HDMI ports has the TV ? As the TV I have has 3 and was trial and error to get soundbar, virgin media and the home entertainment set up.

It is connected in th TV port labled ARC.

I 1st had to set up TV and virgin media ( to establish the TV was receiving a picture) then the home entertainment and finally the soundbar. Took about 4 hours of swapping wires and trying to understand the soundbar instructions, only to find the picture we're like looking in a mirror. It all works
