I've read many times that 'no TV' can pass lossless or HD audio formats via the ARC Return channel.
Does anyone have experience of this with the new QLED TV range?
I hope to buy one. I would want to connect my Sky Q box, Samsung Blu-ray player and Apple TV to the One Connect box, and send the Audio to my surround-sound AVR by HDMI from the One Connect box's ARC Return output. This would let me use the superb Tizen operating system to effortlessly switch between sources, but if a £3k TV can't handle the higher quality audio formats, then I'm not so sure.
I know I can get 'ordinary' DTS, but some of my Blu-ray discs have DTS Master HD, and I'm sure that some of the Tizen Apps like Netflix will start streaming with lossless/HD audio too.
All feedback welcome.
Thanks.....
