Does the 5 year tv warranty apply to TVs bought from the Samsung UK store?

Hi

Maybe a stupid question, but I would still like to get it cleared up. Does the 5 year tv warranty apply even if I bought a TV (eligible product in the list) from the Samsung store directly? It's not mentioned in the list pf participating retailers and I want to make sure  of it. I have bought an eligible TV but I'm worried that I won't get the 5 year warranty.

Hi, I think you are asking a very valid question. Looking at the terms and conditions from your included link it does not look like the Samsung UK store is listed. Strangely, neither are any of the typical UK high street retailers.

The T&Cs do have a UK telephone number listed as 0330 726 7864 so your best bet is to call Samsung directly to confirm your eligibility.

Hi,  I was able to register my recently purchased tv when filling out the registration by adding samsung.com in the purchase location. I received a confirmation that my warranty was registered shortly after submitting the form.

Mine was rejected as I bought it direct off Samsung. What a rip off as I bought it from them thinking they would be in the offer. I’m making a formal complaint

I spoke to customer service and they said that I won't be eligible for warranty as the Samsung store isn't listed in the participating retailers. Ended up cancelling the order and buying a different TV elsewhere.
