Does Samsung The Frame require external Media Receiver?

I’m about to buy a Samsung Frame 65” (2020). 
In my current setup I have a Telekom Media Receiver 401 as well as an Amazon fire TV stick connected to an old TV. 
I’m wondering if these two devices are still needed with the new Frame or if their functionality is fully replaced by the built-in apps.

as long as the outputs are a min of 720p,they will work, fire stick is, if the media receiver has hdmi out it should work
