Hello,

can anyone help in letting me know the difference in MU versus KU versus NU?

Also, how do I need to read the series:  6400, 6420, 7120, 7125, 7190, etc.

Thanks!

Hi @Binnenstraat.

The first letter indicates the year of manufacture, so K = 2016, M = 2017 and N = 2018.

The numbers indicate the spec of the TV and the higher the number, the higher the spec.

Hope this helps.

Hi ChrisM,

thank you. Very helpful. With higher specs, do you mean more (and/or better) possibilities?

Yes, @Binnenstraat. The later models with higher specifications offer more advanced features than their predecessors.

For the price, the MU6400 Active Crystal Colour Ultra HD HDR Smart TV is great value at £469 and is available as a 40 inch model - https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/uhd-mu6400/UE40MU6400UXXU/.

Hi @Binnenstraat, I would agree  with @AndrewL that the MU6400 offers good value  and if looking for a 40 inch should suit your needs.  Thus review places it highly for a smaller UHD set https://www.whathifi.com/best-buys/tvs/best-40-43in-tvs   You can see  more detail on specifications here https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/d61db42    The equivalent in the NU series  does not offer bluetooth support .
