My smart tv samsung 75UE7005 showed a vertical dark band on its left part. It didn't completely hide the background image but it is disturbing. This artefact exists in all sources.
Sounds like you need a new screen , do diagnostic test, your TV will have that in the set up menu , where you can set colours , broadband, system and do on
